Cetme question

Ok all you Cetme owners I have few questions I hope you can answer for me. First, will G3/Hk 91 mags work in the Cetme or are you forced to use the Cetme mags? Second, will the stock and forearm from the G3/Hk91 fit on the Cetme? Finally, how interchangeable are the parts between the G3/Hk 91 and the Cetme? Thx in advance.

Not sure that gun-fucius has answered your question adequately, so I'll chip in: Yes, HK mags will work in the CETME. In fact, I have more HK mags than I do CETME mags for my CETME.

One of the CETME sites (do a Google) has a detailed list of parts that will interchange directly. As i recall, it includes barrels, firing pins, extractors, and some other parts. Buttstocks are not a direct interchange but can fit with mods.

I have heard from the CETME forum, but cannot confirm, that the G3/HK91 stock sets work with CETME's with a little minor hand fitting. Here's the CETME forume with lots more answers:

Good to know. Thank you guys. Will Cetme mags work in HKs though? I've the German gun.

AFAIK, Yes they will work in the 91/G3 just fine..
