about 50 years as a mechanic/ weldor/fitter. My dad built and drove racing cars and started me at age 11 to do the same. Bad health got in the way of racing.

I've been busy rebuilding my reloading/gun room. I had hoped to get rid of the carpet in the room and replace it with ceramic tile and the other side of the room (not in these pics) is a mess! That's where my computer station is, tool box, bookcase wadda, wadda, wadda. But here's were the action is;

First the reloading press bench;

This bench is were I work on my guns. The computer hooked to that monitor and keyboard has old software and databases for reloading that I can't run on my newer computer.

Next is my ammo storage. Most of it goes into a old Stack-on gun cabinet I added shelves to. Here it is all locked up;

And now open;

You'll see that aside from 22's, almost all the ammo I shoot, I reload. I buy very little loaded ammo.

Very nice reloading cave. Looks like you've been at it a long time. Some high quality equipment there. I'm envious.

Yessir. .40 s&w 165 grain RNFP. A friend recommended them, great price, and they have stock ready to order (unlike everywhere else). And free shipping.

I just sent in an order, as well. Great to find a place that has bullets in stock.

My bench is a few pages back but will be closing on a house (hopefully) in a few weeks.
After I get the basement dried out there will be a new bench to post

This was in January...

This is in September...

Reloading has been a fun journey for me.. I'm not on any kind of accelerated learning process, just kinda learning as I go... I've probably loaded about 5000 rounds of 40 S&W and another 500 rounds of 308 Winchester... I've invested a few dollars and it has been worth every penny. I enjoy reloading just as much as I do shooting.. It is important to have a nice and comfortable area to reload because when you reload, you want to be relaxed and comfortable.. Thats my .02 worth...

Royesses, thanks for sharing your set up, bigger isn't necessarily better as you so aptly demonstrated. Thats just a terrific piece of design, very nicely executed. You've got me seriously rethinking my plans for my reloading bench. First class work!!

Manny, thanx for the compliment. It started life as a harbor freight grinder stand. About $19.00 using a 20% off coupon. I still need to make a cabinet under the tray. I'll include more photos when I do that.

I had the pleasure of knowing one of the covers girls years ago. She was the daughter of John Nowlin who built me many pistols over the years and was a close friend. She, Julie, now runs Nowlin's

Nice luis7. There's nothing prettier than a big pile of cast bullets fresh from the pot.

What brand are the lube/sizers? How do the heaters work, the power cords seem to terminate into the wooden base. I ask because One looks like my RCBS that sits on an aluminum heating plate.
