Show off your long range rifle

Lets see some pics of your long range rifles... anything you might use for 100 yards plus; hunting, target shooting, anything

I just bought a Rem 700, still as it was from the factory, with addition of a leupold scope..

You can never go wrong with a Swiss M1911. You don't really need a scope with the accuracy that bugger has.

I also tend to use a number of other surplus rifles from Lee Enfields, Mosins Nagants, a M1903 Springfield that are well capable of over a 100 metres and most had people training on at 300 metres with iron sights. I don't even have a scoped rifle at the moment.

Here is my mainstay rifle: a Savage 11F 7mm WSM with a Bushnell 5x15 Legend.

Weatherby Mark V in .300 Wby. The scope is a Weaver V7-W 2x7.

Long range or not, it's my only rifle and my first rifle I got last week. I haven't gotten the chance to try 100 yards yet, just broke in the barrel at the 50 yard range. It's a savage 12 in .223.

Well, if past 100 yards counts for long range:

One of my favorite passtimes is shooting clay pigeons at 200 yds with my 10/22

Belongs to the Army, but I used to shoot E-Types out to 600 meters with it when I had an ACOG, I haven't had the chance to shoot at anything past 400 since I got reduced to an Aimpoint, but I think 400 is about the limit of my abilities with the Aimpoint.

And of course, also belonging to the Army:

Thats me with the not yet camoflaged rifle (its been painted since the picture was taken)

This is the longest range rifle I've got nearby. Truth be told, my Yugo Mauser M98 is probably better suited to longer shots simply by because of the sights on the 03A3. The Mauser has a better stock for longer range (read: aftermarket)
I'm guessing the .30-06 and 8mm are pretty close as far as range goes.

Here's my Savage (the bolt and action anyway) w/accutrigger chambered in .270 with custom stock, barrel, bipod, etc.

The other is one of my AR's. It's my cheap long range plinker. I also have a nice Rem 700bdl in 30-06 but I have no pics of it right now, it's my hunting rifle.

Remington 700 VLS .308 in the Accuracy International 1.5 stock. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet (rifle range is on the other side of town and gas prices still suck)

mil sup hacks

These are the only rifles I have taken pics of (apart from my Marlin 444S). We shoot standard military rifles in three positional shooting at 300, 200 &100yards, so I supose you could call them long range rifles.

This is my No4, looks new, been FTW'd. I haven't really worked out loads for it yet.

This is my friend with a rifle I gave to another guy when he was on the ropes and couldn't afford to shoot. It was a mint (?) Israeli Mauser and he immediately bubba'd it. My frien bought it off him and sorta reattached the forend and mounted an old german Pecar scope. I have it back now and I am working my way through a 1000 F4 rounds that i was given.

I'll have to get the digital camera going.

mick.
