Like-new 870 Exp for $80!!!!!!

I picked up a nice 870 Exp Magnum with 28" barrel, four choke tubes, two stock sets, cleaning rod, and some ammo for $80!!!!!! Now I want to get a short barrel remove the dimples and add an extended mag tube and maybe ghost ring sights.

How did you get such a deal? Are there any more available in that price range?

870

It was advertised on the net by a guy here in Missouri. I jumped on it!!!! To top that off, he ended up buying a gun I had beed trying to sell. Sorry, no more available. If there were, I'd have already bought everyone of them.

Exclamation DON'T SHOOT THAT SHOTGUN!!

Nyghtfall, there is obviously something seriously wrong with that shotgun for the seller to take such a low price. I'm sorry it cost you $80 for something that is obviously junk and likely extremely dangerous. For safety's sake, I'll be glad to help you out by taking the gun off of your hands for what you paid - in fact I'll give you $20 more, just so you don't feel bad about being taken by the original seller. You can even keep the cleaning kit. Please e-mail me so we can arrange a transfer. Remember - this is potentially a matter of life and death that you get rid of this gun!

Actually, it might not be a bad idea to give it a very thorough going-over. It might be cheap for a reason. Of course, any reason for it to be that cheap should be pretty obvious.

"Hey...dude...where's the receiver?" "I said as-is! Take it or leave it!"

Nice deal

Mike

Wanted to Buy: vz24, Swedish, Siamese and various contract Mausers, in excellent condition (no scrubbed crests, please). Also, looking for a BHP in Ohio for FTF.

Talking

I appreciate the "offers". But I stripped it when I got it home, even had the serial number checked. It's clean and hardly been fired, didn't even need cleaning or lubrication. If I run across any more "bad" deals, I'll keep you guys in mind.

Are you sure you don't have burns on your hands? Every once in a while, someone sells a gun for far less than it is worth because they know little about them, you got lucky my friend.
When in gunsmithing school, an old guy brought in an old pistol and asked the head instructor if he would give him $75.00 for it as he badly needed money. The instructor looked it over, did some checking and let the guy know he would give him the $75.00 but that the pistol was worth in excess of 20 thousand.
I don't recall what type of pistol it was, but the old guy was one happy man. He directed the guy to several collectors.
Good shooting, John K
