New member here in the northern Atlanta Metro area of Georgia. My Glock 30 with CT Lasergrips is my current favorite. In my early 50's... don't get to go shooting as often as I would like, but I'm glad I stocked up on ammo before Obama won the election and prices went sky high.

Hello

Hi everyone

My name is Gordon and I never really had an interest in guns till I had to use a few (I won't go into detail). I own a small variety of weapons. Here's a short list of a few of them.

For knives or less than lethal
I prefer a crowbar. (I know it's stupid, but it works)

Handguns
357 Colt Python
Glock 17

Rifles, Submachine
I usually prefer my Mp5k
I also have a Mp7

Ect
I also have a crossbow with a scope on it.

Howdy all! New to here obviously, so just poppin in to say hi. Ive been lookin around these parts for awhile now, finally decided to join. Ive only really got into shooting recently...about 6 months ago actually. Currently only have about 8 guns, that number keeps growing every month. Got 3 M91/30s, a Ruger 10/22, Mossberg 930 Roadblocker, AR-15 (Yankee Hill upper and lower, but built at home), Taurus Judge, and a FEG Pa-63. Next up will probably be a Sig Sauer P238 for my concealed carry...but I tend to be spur of the moment and I really like my rifles, so who knows

Hope to get to know some of yall!

Hello! I'm from Indiana and currently own a Glock 19, looking to purchase either the G27 or G30 next. I like CZs and XDs too, but love Glocks now that I own one. I am also looking to purchase a Marlin 336 BL lever action rifle in 30-30 sometime. These gun forums are great. I sure enjoy the posts and pictures.

Smile Greetings

I am a retired US Army helicopter pilot (30 years) and I now fly helicopters commercially. I have worked in Suriname, Argentina and Brazil and am now flying in the Gulf of Mexico. I flew AH-1 Cobra and AH-64 Apache helicopters, among others, so I was privileged to shoot some fairly big munitions.

I sold my last of many firearms in 1978 and until very recently, owned none. I now own a S&W M41 (great target pistol), FNh 5.7x28 (WOW!), Springfield XD(M).40 S&W (surprisingly nice handgun) and a Panther 5.56 "The Agency" ( a really neat setup).

I had forgotten just how much I enjoyed shooting firearms and have been really surprised how much my wife enjoys it. The FN 5.7 is hers and she's pretty good with it.

Look forward to communicating with others on this forum.

I'm calling BS bro, although they are good FPSs. As a fan of the games, I temporarily found it funny but the majority of the guys on here aren't gonna get it. What led you to even bother doing this in the 1st place? Yeah, I get it, by the way: you're being sarcastic & personifying the "last free man". The question remains then, why isn't the best gun listed in your arsenal? You know, the gravity gun.

Was the 5-7 hard to find & what's buying ammo like? Welcome, BTW, & thanks for your service. You flew the most viscous choppers in our countries history.

Thumbs up 21Bravo

I bought the FN 5.7 at Bass Pro Shops along with several boxes of ammunition. I believe it was 2 boxes of the lead free which we use at an indoor range near the house and 2 boxes of the blue polymer tip. I forget the specific numbers, something like LS 192 or so. Since then we have bought ammunition in various places, Academy, Bass Pro Shop, The Gun Center in Pasadena, TX, Walter Craig in Alabama. It's not too hard to find, but I have never seen it at Wal Mart. With a full 20 round magazine it doesn't weigh much more than an airsoft BB pistol and my wife carries it in a Gun Toten Mamas purse and you can't even tell it's there.

The thing shoots out REAL NICE, is rediculously accurate and has very little recoil. It is a bit loud in an indoor range and does attract attention.

By the way, thanks for the appreciation and Thank You to the American people for putting us in such great equipment. We appreciate it.

A "gun purse"? Hmmmmmm......my wife is a purse ADDICT & although she has a fetish for the 2-$300 ones, I'll look into it to see if they make one for a rose gold desert eagle like she wants. You take care brother & don't be a stranger on here!

Hello everyone.
I am a new member from Pauls Valley Oklahoma. I have started experimenting and developing loads again after a fifteen years hiatus.

Is there a thread where I can post my pet loads?

Thanks,

I'm a regular Omaha NE guy, prior millitary, a former armed guard, and now a motorcycle accident has left me crippled. Now more than ever I feel like I should be allowed to carry for the protection of myself and others. I am charged for possession of unregistered gun and carry concealed gun in Omaha Ne. They say there was a sign on the door which I did not see. The law revision which was needed to force Omaha to follow the law regarding ccw permit holders comes into effect two days before my court date but the ccw charge is a problem. What happens to me here is their test case to see what they can do. I feel like if they screw me over it will be that much worse for many others. I know one thing. The ones killed at the mall would have loved for me to have been there and no to have seen the sign or even to have disregarded the sign, knowing in their last moments that no one was going to help them.

Sounds as if our wives are a lot alike. My wife is the original shopaholic, bless her soul.

The Gun Toten Mamas purse she carries is well made, leather and they come in various styles and colors. I'm not trying to sound like a fashion consultant here. On the internet they sell for about $90, but she bought hers at our local shootin' parlor for about $10 less. It's pretty inconspicuous and easy to manipulate and comes with a velcroed holster inside.

Nice talkin' with ya and this could turn out to be a lot of fun.

Hello from Rudy Arkansas
I am an avid but poor gun nut. I I like to reload, shoot, and clean just about any firearm I can afford. Ive been collecting guns and reloading my own ammo since 1978. Yes I am old but still enjoy all aspects of this sport.

Nutin' wrong with being a little long in the tooth on this forum.

Seems most of these folks are pretty friendly.

Kinda nice finding a place like this.

Hi all, Ken here. Seems most of you are in the US. I'm a New Zealander, living in Auckland. I've been a hunter most of my life, here and in Australia. Don't have any firearms at the moment, but will be buying a new rifle soon, definitely a 270WSM, probably a Savage. I've been using a bow, a Browning Eclipse, for awhile but have just had to have both shoulders rebuilt after a bad accident so can't draw a bow now. I've been "guesting" here for awhile, like what I've seen so decided to move in. I look forward to conversations in the future - thanks for having me :-)

Hello,
I am just another gun nut from Virginia. Not really a collector, just an accumulator of toys. Learned about this place from a guy I made a holster for. Carry a j-frame, but love to shoot my 1911a1
