Renewing old hobby
I have ordered the new Lyman reloading manual. Mine are outdate. Newest one I have is from 1992. I am about to buy a varmint rifle but haven't made up my mind which calibre (22-250 or 223). I already have dies for 308 and 30-06 which I use for deer. So again hello to all. |

Hi,
I live in Johannesburg S.A. I currently own a CZ550 30-06 and have more recently acquired a CZ550 6.5X55mm Swede. My interests are reloading, messing about on the range confirming loads and then using these to hunt Springbok, Impala, Kudu .... you get the picture. I bought the 6.5mm Swede for the reduced recoil as I plan on taking my grandbuddies hunting and this calibre. Due to the longwinded licencing process in this country I will probably only take possession of the 6.5mm in 6 weeks time. I enjoy reading technical articles on rifles and loading and keep good records on what I do. |

My name is Paul Mauritson and I live in New Mexico and I like weapons and have begun to learn reloading. I am a former Marine and married to a lady that loves shooting also (although she doesn't like to clean her 38 Ruger)
I am somewhat a pain in the keester when asked about political topics because I am pretty much a strict Constitutionalist and won't even consider anyone's view that it can be interpreted to fit the modern times. It is what is and that is all I need. My friends consider me a "hard*ss" but I'm not arrogant about it and enjoy get-togethers with our neighbors. I like the desert and dislike snow. |

Hi. I'm new and really glad I found this site. I am currently waiting on my FFL so I can expand my business into selling new guns as well as the private sales I already do. I am also learning how to duracoat and have recently become a cerified firearms instructor. I have long been into guns but have just this year turned that into a business. My main love is the AR-15 platform but I am also very into handguns and all things concealed carry related. From the few threads I have read through I know you folks have a lot to offer in the way of new knowledge and skills so thanks in advance!

Hello everyone. My name is Al & I have various interests which include everything from a 110 year old .22 rifle to a .50 Beowulf AR. I also enjoy studying ballistics. I'm a USAF vet (1967-1971) and I spent most of my adult life in Africa, Asia and the Middle-East. working on airplanes. I'm disabled now (lungs gave out) but still enjoy anything related to guns & hunting.

My name is John, retired after 32yrs service in the Army. Gun laws are tight (and prices expensive) in Ireland so my guns are all .22 calibre; CZ Kadet, Ruger 10/22 and CZ 452 Magnum. Not fanatical, but have a great interest in rifled firearms.

Hello, I just joined today. I am relatively new to this compared to many of you. I have been shooting a few years but only started to get interested in this topic within the last couple of years. I am looking for a conceal carry handgun and thought here was a good place to look. My husband (Axellarson), has been a member here for years and pointed me to this site for advice.

Good morning HighRoaders,
New guy here. Not just to the forum, but to shooting in general. I started with Ruger 10/22 to become comfortable with guns, as I wasn't fortunate enough to be around them in my youth. After much research, including reading up here, I am pleased to say I have graduated to my first handgun a Beretta Nano. I plan to take CCW courses and carry the gun concealed in a responsible way. |

So greetings from the buckeye state. I'm thirty somthing, with a wife and three children. I joined this site to gain knowlegde mostly. Being a father, and owning firearms carries a lot of forethought, and well...safty to say the least. The firearms I own are a bit diverse,..there is a 1953 win. model 52 heavy bbl, which I badly need sights for. A 9mm HI-Point 995, a SA stoger/ubriti .357 1873 Cattleman, a Savage 1917 .32 auto, a .32 Secrect Service Special (unknown manufactorer), and a saiaga ak-47. I found this sight when i googled, "how to improve the accuracy of an ak-47".The next firearm i wish to purchase would be a 1911 Springfield in .45 acp. Im thinking probably the XDs single stack. That seems like it would fit my wifes hands very nicely. Or if i get my way,.. the Range Master
Thank you, J.D.W.
