The guy shooting should be prosecuted for reckless endangerment. He actually pulled the trigger while the "runner" was on the front side of the shooting bench. This rates as a 10 in the imprudent scale.

Lucky fellas.

Here is another one they filmed where they packed tannerite into some rocks. Watch the shrapnel come back to the cameraman. These guys are a bunch of geniuses.

Is there any way to communicate with them and get them to a safety course?

Probably a waste of time. Darwin is going to get this bunch sooner or later.

Re the subject, one tends to wonder as to how dumb some people can be. Of course, the question appears to be "self-answering" doesn't it?

If they were much farther away and used an incendiary round they wouldn't have been doing anything unsafe.

I can't be too critical. I'm just glad nobody was there to film me the day I poured gasoline into the burn barrel by mistake and set myself on fire. I jumped back so fast from the explosion I tore the sole off my boot.

It would have been far more entertaining if the cylinder had nailed him between the eyes. Perhaps the idiot should consider wearing eye protection the next time he shoots at an explosive object.

Youtube has some that are even better. And by better I mean stupider. On one the guys are in a boat and shoot a giant flaming propane tank and it explodes into a HUGE ball of fire and then shoots across the lake. Then there is one where they shoot it and it shoots right at them, missing them by a couple feet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFPedGsqtrs

These guys almost got blown up. "Go check."

Play safe

Been there done this stuff we used road flares behind propane canisters at 100 yd. It's definitely fun after dark...... Things that go boom are fun, I don't care who you are.
For $61.20 a month the Marines made me do worse.......... lighten up!

That only happens if you're stupid enough to sit a propane tank in a fire then shoot a hole in it. Without the fire, absolutely nothing happens except for the nice, gentle, white, cloud that forms as the LP spreads over the ground.
The idiot who lit the fire is lucky that tank wasn't leaking. The term 'crispy critter' comes to mind.

Thet just should have been farther away. Other than being too close, looks like fun to me.

I've done some stupid stuff with explosives in my 20yrs of life, but these guys make anything I've done look pretty safe. I'm all for having fun, but these guys need to think things through - you only get 1 shot at life. As a couple other guys have mentioned, Darwin is bound to catch up sooner or later.

The first thing that I noticed was the fact that the idiot was handling his rifle while his buddy was downrange. I don't care what they shoot, just so long as they don't shoot each other.
