3 days ago - finally picked up a Winchester 70 Featherweight in 30-06. Been looking for a good used one (though new manufacture) - loving it so far.

I picked up a Glock 34 Gen 3 and a Viridian X5L Gen 2 Laser/light. Awesome combination. I can hip fire and hit cans at about 50 feet out. Well, I think the lightened trigger kit helped some too. Also, i think DPM Systems guide rods are worth looking at. I ordered one and the gun seems to kick less and cycle faster. Rapid fire is such a joy, but expensive..

Remington 700 SPS-V .308
I love the gun, especially with Federal Gold Medal Match (168 gr SMK)!! Scope is a Millett TRS-1 4-16x50
![]() Groups shown were shot at 200 yards with sandbag rests front and rear for support (3 shot groups because I didn't have enough ammo for 5). ![]() ![]() 1st group measures about 1/4", 2nd group measures just over 1/2" (caliper is misplaced since the move, hope to find it soon ).....hard to beat that....3 shots above diamond in second target photo were made by a friend during a little competition. These 3 shots (bottom right diamond) were to get a rough sight-in at 100 yards:

I can't remember. It was just one more.
![]() Okay, I remember now that I gave it more thought, it was a FWB 601 air rifle. Don't ask me what I bought before it though. It is a blur. |

Ortgies .32 auto for sentimental reasons and a Ruger LCR .22 simply 'cause I wanted it. Both from the same dealer on the same day at a show. It was my last blast before my status changed from semi to full time retired and my firearms fund took a big hit.

I bought a Century Arms WASR-10 for $ 489.00 this afternoon. I feel like I got a bargain
and I don't think there will be many battle rifles sold for under $ 500.00 at least for the near future in light of recent events. |

last gun
Last fall I bought a used S&W 629 .44 Mag. In August my wife and I were hiking in Glacier N.P. and had a close encounter with a Grizzly bear. I was instantly convinced the my .357 wasn't big enough!

Springfield Armory Loaded 1911 Stainless. Replaced the 2-piece guide rod with a stainless Wilson Combat bulletproof GI guide rod and stainless recoil spring plug. Put on an Ed Brown flat stainless MSH, and Ed Brown Match trigger. I eventually want to have the front strap and MSH checkered or stippled, and have night sights installed.
