I just picked up a Sig P239 9mm and I have a P6 on order.
I am also thinking about a Mossberg .308 that a local shop has. I have been looking for a budget .308 bolt gun.

Springer PX9154LP Loaded. I was a little worried about break-in because it was very tight, ended up not being a problem.

Last one I actually bought was a S&W 3913 LS. After that I did a little wheeling and dealing for a S&W .38/44 Heavy Duty. My newest acquisition was a Norinco SKS that was given to me.

Most recently I bought a NIB Glock M24. Here's how she started....
![]() ![]() then....I put a custom compensated lonewolf barrel in, a custom slide coverplate, ghost tactical 3.5# connector, a custom magwell extension (bought a plastic one...and cut it to shape), followed that up with ameriglow ghost ring night sights & a complete chrome pin replacement set including extended takedown pin & extended slide release. Here's how she looks today: ![]() ![]() ![]()

New latest; Helped a guy out, he invited me to a gun store, Sprague's in Yuma AZ, I saw a Star S model, I made a big deal of it like a kid but lamented that I'd gone way over my gun budget lately. He tells the salesman "Put it back in the box".
A bit later he stops at a bank and cashes some checks and gives me the money for it. Won't take the money back cause I helped him plan a trip, something I do for fun, flying a light plane to Yuma, twist my arm! It looks like new, gorgeous all steel .380. Sign me "happy camper"

New 9mm
I bought a Stoeger Cougar 8000 for $359, I was looking for a double action 9mm (so I could afford to shoot) and had read different reviews for the Stoeger (formerly Beretta) and when I saw it at a local gun store, thought I would give it a try. Fits my hand very well and also fit my budget very well, shoots really nice and carries concealed really well... doesn't pull my pants down :-)
I am very pleased with this gun and when loaded with the proper ammo, will take care of self defense needs just fine.

Safe Queen
I picked up a near mint late war PPK at a local gun shop. Its rough as most of the late war guns are but the condition is really good. Although I did not know it at the time, it has what is known as "SA Shooting Team" grips on it which I am told are very desirable. It came with the black mag which I have since replaced with a flat based correct mag.

Back in July after i came back from deployment, I purchased a Rock Island Arsenal 1911. With the tiny GI sights I could get tight center-mass groups out to 75 feet. I am using it as a base to building up a custom gun. Bought it new for $380.
