Just finished the conversion. I'm not sure which forend I'm going with yet. Now I just need mags, optic, and sling.

I have a BSA Red Dot on my Buckmark Camper. It's a great help with 68 year old eyes in two handed shooting but for Bullseye Practice at the club which is a one handed affair it's better sighting quality is somewhat cancelled out for me due to the added weight. My Buckmark has the fiber optic front sight which works well for that kind of use, the lighter weight gives me more time on target before the wobbles get worse.

Unless you want rails, it really is more comfortable than most AK-style foreends. For my conversion, I just threw it on my mill and put some cooling slots in it, called it good to go. Plus, IMO it's the most attractive one out there. Looks 'aggressive' without invoking the 'OMG evil gun' silhouette.

Burris Euro Diamond 1.5-6 x 40 with Burris Tactical Rings Here's some after pics of it after I refinished the stock with Tru Oil. I hated the factory finish as is looked like a overly done stain finish, which hid the beautiful fiddleback pattern in the wood |

Yeah I think I will keep the forend stock at least for now. I would like to paint it to match the rest of the furniture. Any suggestions? I've never painted plastic before.

Bought my first pistol. Walther PK380. I've put 200 rounds downrange. Shoots well. I'm pleased with it.

M&P40c, about 2 hours ago.
This has got to be the last firearms I buy for a while. I know I've said that about a dozen times over the past year, but seriously this is getting absurd.

The last thing I bought was an impulse buy at the local pawn shop, a Rossi model 25 2" .22 7-shot revolver from the late '60s. I wanted to have a small, unintimidating .22 revolver for my wife to start learning to shoot. Paid 80 bucks out the door. I tested it at the range yesterday, it worked ok but was all over the place accuracy-wise. I was shooting some unjacketed bulk ammo that has been in my closet for years, so next time I'll try it out with better ammo.

Just bought a Mosin-Nagant 91/30 . . . it was on sale for $99 at Cabela's, and since I didn't have any Russian guns, I just couldn't resist going through the rack and taking the best one home.

If I rest it on a bag, I was hitting my little plinking spinners out to 100 yards.
