My last purchase was a Stag Arms Model 8 piston AR. Nice rifle. I have it set up for coyote hunting.

These 2 just arrived this week, a Sig P6 and a P225. Both have had refinishing jobs done by CCR.

Ruger SP101 2.25 with Crimson Trace grips. The sights are well regulated POA =POI for 158 grain .357. The impact is lower with .38 Special and lighter grain .357

last gun purchased

ooh I still remember this. I purchased an M-1 Garand re-imported from Korea distributed by Arlington Ordnance at a local pawn shop. Replaced all the wood and thoroughly enjoyed shooting it. Sadly, I was forced to sell it several years ago.

I was gifted yesterday with a black powder kit rifle and an old colt da revolver, both in pretty sad shape. Ah well, hope to get both of them in shooting order but hold little hope for the colt, it needs lots of parts.

Just bought a Weatherby Vanguard in .308. Was a little leary due to the low price ($349!) but decided to take a risk. Read mostly good things about it on the net. It will most likely turn into my loaner gun when a buddy needs to borrow one for a hunt, or to serve as backup. I'll sight it in this weekend and see how it does from the bench.

I was just shopping in my Buddy's hardware store/Gun shop for an actual hardware reason and the m12 was just sitting there. He is a Hardware guy that just happens own a gun store. He knows very little about old guns and he didn't know what he had and neither did the woman that sold it.

He bought it for $250 and sold it to me for $350. I told him what it was and he said "As long as I'm in the green I'm happy." He had no problem with the price. It came with the original grips, box, manual, bore brush, unfilled out warranty card, heck it even has advertisements for S&W knives and ammo! I looks brand spankin' new!!
