Last gun I purchased was this ITHACA MODEL X, .22rf single-shot. Only made 300 in 1988. Has unique dual firing system to use both rf and cf by changing barrels. Evidently they had a problem with development and ceased production. It's reported none were ever produced in planned .44mag.
![]() Photo is from the auction house which currently is shipping it to me. It still has its original shipping carton, and appears to be unfired - according to the auction offering. Am looking forward to receiving it. I enjoy single-shot .22rf oddballs like this. Interesting that for the past 129 years - since 1883 - Ithaca has ONLY MADE 3 PISTOLS: WW II Model 1911 A1 automatics for Government; 1990s made 125 Commemmorative Govt. 45s; and these 300 Model Xs in 1988. Best regards ~ ~ ~ 45Broomhandle

Finally got my hands on another AR15 M4 Carbine, after selling my last one (Bushmaster) a few months ago.
Its a Spikes tactical lower and buffer with RGuns upper and barrel. Bought a couple of other parts for it (scope, mags) from last weekend's gun show. |

Picked up a smle no1 mk3*. Lithgow manufacture. Mint "as issued" condition. Had less than 200 rds since 1975. Pretty stoked with it. Still working on loads though.

Yesterday I picked up a Rossi "Ranch Hand" in .357 Magnum. That's their snubbie-ized version of the '92 Winchester that is similar to what Steve McQueen carried in Wanted: Dead or Alive. It has a large loop lever, but it's rounder and not the same shape as Randall's gun.
Now, I have absolutly no idea what the practical value of this pistol (according to the law it is, and on the box it actually stated it was!) is, but, hey, you have to scratch those itches once in a while. ![]()

im close to getting the sig 1911 3.3" stainless upper
$889 is a bit steep though. i'll wait for some reports and possibly save with a used one. it being 4 oz heavier than my defender may quiet the arthritis. actually acquired was a gift--a colt 32 colt ( not the S&W 32 cartrage) unlike my target 32 D.A. this one need tough scrub. bbl is good ( a test group of 5 proved it) so the cleaning will be a worthwile project.

The last gun I bought was a very nice .38 Special S&W Model 10-5 with four inch tapered barrel and square butt the week before Christmas. The last gun I got was a .38 Special S&W Model 37 with the 1⅞ inch barrel and round butt in a straight trade on Christmas Day for a .32 ACP KelTec P32. Really!
