Something Swedish

Itís a Model 1887 Swedish Husqvarna Nagant, 7.5mm, 6 shot, with a 4 3/4 in barrel. I found it in a local gun shop for a great price, compared of course to some recent Gun Broker Auctions.

Hmmm... last one I BOUGHT, I reckon, was my little Taurus 605 about a year ago.

I had a custom AR (SPR) professionally built, and built 3 other ARs myself in that time, though.

This Ruger Super Single-Six, with the .22 mag conversion cylinder, the Ruger rug, the Ruger leather flap holster, pachmayr rubber target grips, and the original manual.

Bought it at a gunshow for $375.00... I sure am upset for those boys that don't find any good deals at gunshows anymore.

one of the new breakdown 10/22 rifles
the takedown mechanism was so spiffy that it over-rode my dislike for stainless and cheap synthetic stocks

I just picked up a Remington 700 SPS Varmint in .243 about a month ago. I also put a Millet scope on it. I replaced the crappy stock with a H. S. Precision stock in the picture and it feels and shoots a lot better.

Been a good "deal" year so far. Swiss K31 in superb shape with 400 rounds of Prvi ammo and 400 rounds of Swiss GP11 ammo...for $500. Ammo alone would cost around 350. Plus a nice Bulgarian Arsenal Makarov...for 100 bucks.

I bought a AK 74 - Century Arms Tanatal. I took it out this past Saturday and after
a few teething problems (it is my first semiauto battle type rifle and I was learning
on the fly) it was shooting OK after a little trial and error. I had a few misfeeds
at first but I believe it was the way I was loading the magazines. Things got
better and the gun groups well but it was shooting left. Now I need to get on a
benchrest and see if that is operator error or if I need to adjust the front sight
a bit. Now I'm thinking about buying it's bigger brother when it comes to
cartridges - the AK 47 or about getting that large caliber snubbie I've always
wanted (.44 or .45).
