New Pug
Just bought a .22 MAG NAA PUG. As far as a defensive cal, I know .22 MAG in a 1" barrel isn't great but I'll be darned this thing is neat. It has express sights and feels like it was built by freedom arms. A great conversation piece and addition to the safe. I carried it all week with the ease of carring my cell phone.
I'll do a range report and some ammo testing. I want to see what ammo has the best potential for doing damage with this little pistol. When I can, I'll carry my Kahr, but this is one cool "always gun." Link: http://www.naaminis.com/news42.pdf |

The gun I most recently acquired is my Kimber Classic Custom that is Clackamas roll-marked. The gun shoots like a dream. I also purchased a Kimber Custom Carry II just a few days before the Classic, and it shoots awesome too. Man I love my Kimbers. Seems everybody bashes them on the 'net, but I have six of them and they all function just as they are supposed to.

Kimber had a bad period, perhaps when they ramped up production too fast. Most firearms manufactures have had bad spells (Colt, S&W, Browning, Kimber, etc.) The smart ones learn and correct their mistakes. Your recent experience (and others) suggest that Kimber too has learned from it's mistakes. Ken |

Sig Sauer Equinox carry...(P220 only smaller)
Christmas present to myself! Liked the look of it, and hubby has standard P220, which have been very reliable, so wanted one of my own! (just to play with, as I carry a GSR) If they come out with an Equinox version of of the GSR I will run to the store and get me one! )

Most recent purchase was a Winchester '94 AE, today as a matter of fact. Prior to that, it was a Glock 36 with night sights.
