Not a gun purchase per se, but since I acquired this 1967 Ruger 10/22 and never shot it, I ordered a Bunting Bullpup conversion for it last year and it just came last month. After a quick build and cheap red dot, this is the result. Still haven't fired it.

Crappy CellPhone pic...

Its an STI Spartan in 9mm. I've replaced the FLGR and spring plug with the correct parts, the grips are rubber ones from Kimber (just as all of my 1911s), and fragile LPA rear sight was replaced with a modified fixed sight from Harrison Custom. I've only had it to the range once and only have 400 rounds through it, but its running pretty good so far.

The sight is supposed to function as a slide-racker, but the ledge on the front of the sight wasn't sharp enough to do it reliably. Had to do it just right, unlike with the 10-8 sight I had gotten used to. So I stuck it in a surface grinder and went to town. Don't ask me how much I took off of it, I just eyeballed it, and took off material off until it looked right to me, without paying any attention to the dials on the surface grinder...

I'll probably take .010" off of the top of the slide so it has a standard Novak dovetail instead of the .085" deep dovetail that Armscorp is fond of. Cant decide if I want to go all the way down the length of the slide, or just the area under the front sight blade.

Just traded my brand new worthless Diamondback DB380 for a 12 gauge Stoeger Coach Gun Supreme (single trigger) that I love, tons of fun.
