Thanks, I wanted to avoid any problems being with the gun. With Louis teaching I wanted ALL the problems to be all me - and I sold two Sigs and an M1 Carbine to pay for it... Big hit.

Bought a XDm 5.25 Competition .

Well, I competed with it last Saturday and absolutely love this gun.

I didn't win (I never do) but not one hiccup of any kind by this XDm.

Very accurate / very easy to handle.

Another shooter (close friend) borrowed it at two stages.

He's gonna get one now.

I'm even more excited about my new gun now.

I picked up a 1957 Colt Cobra .38 SPL 4" at a GS 2 weeks ago, LNIB, without the box. Superb accuracy, fun to shoot, very nice find!

Sig Sauer 522 Classic, topped with a red dot. Religious shooting experience, and it's a .22 to boot.

Garage Sale Deal

I picked up a Traditions Lightning .50 cal inline muzzle-loader with a nice padded case for $35 at a garage sale this weekend! I haven't owned a muzzle-loader in 10 years and I've only shot one a handful of times, so I'm actually pretty excited about it.

I just picked up a Romanian TTC ... to go with my other Romy TTC ... and my 4 Yugo M57s, 2 Polish and 3 Russian TT-33s.

I think that I now have enough of the TT-33 family ... maybe.

Just scored a Beretta 92SB compact "type m". I have always loved the Beretta 92 line, but my small hands don't allow me to comfortably shoot most of them. The single stack, smaller "type m" design fits my hand perfectly!

I just put my first gun on Layaway (more so an attempt to curtail my buying than anything else--I'm spreading the payments out the entire 90 day duration to see if it is something that works for me). So far so good though I've been tempted to just pay it off and get on with it.

Very nice Remington 1911 by the way!

-Cheers

Yeah I have Been doing layaway more to slow my buy down then anything else. Doesn't cost any interest/fees. I rather not take $ from savings to buy a gun. And at the end of the week when I have my play money sorted out I just make a payment
