Lots of nice pics here and I can see people are buying stuff much like four years ago--Am I the only one having trouble finding 'good-deals'? Yeah I know, it's all 'relative' but I'm just sayin' . I did pick up a little mouse gun (.22lr) NIB total for $189 which is a great buy price wise when I compare (and it felt good to support my local gun shop which unfortunately I can't always do). Not to endorse any particular sites (all of them are great, at least via my experiences) but lately I have noticed that if properly researched (and of course timed), one can find a nice deal to be had on galleryofguns and avoid FFL fees as well. Perhaps I need to start considering 'private sales' as I think I have only done so once myself ever.

I intend to find out on Monday with TCM configuration, and sometime later in the week with the 9x19 configuration.

It is a big pig of a pistol, compared to my others, I generally lean towards smaller slimmer autoloaders, and I install slimline alumagrips on 1911 pistols as a habit - no aftermarket for these yet, and there isn't much to make thinner.
Works good, shoots reasonably accurately (it was too hot for serious accuracy testing, it was more of a "blasting" trip to the range)

I cleaned it up and re-assembled in 9x19 configuration - might get a chance to test that setup by Monday, I hope it will eat cheap steelcase and shoot reasonably close to the TCM's POI - I'd much rather be paying $0.20 per shot for cheapo 9mm than $0.50 per shot for TCM ... and I wouldn't be scrounging brass for more than housekeeping purposes.

19-4, the front sight insert and rear sight blade have been replaced with meprolight sights, and it's sporting some badger grips. I'm not one to modify my guns mostly because I'm cheap but I like it.

Beretta Nano from Spoortsman's Warehouse, only place in town I could find one (have around 5 or 6 LGS in town). Nanos and Sheilds are impossible to keep in stock for anyone.

Yesterday I bought a Bersa Thunder Nine Ultra Compact in 9mm. A nice 13 rnd. semiauto in a relatively small package.

Something a little different for you if you like air rifles. This is an Air Arms S400F air rifle in .177 calibre.

It is what’s known as a pre-charged pneumatic model, which uses an air reservoir under the barrel rather than a spring, whereby you can fill it using a small divers bottles (preferred) or a hand pump. The real advantage is there isn’t any recoil of any sort, which adds to its accuracy. The silencer is so quite the only noise you really hear, apart from a slight ‘phut’ is the pellet hitting the target.

Another advantage over here is you don’t need a licence to own one and you can use it in your garden. It’s also hell of a lot cheaper on ammo than my other firearms!

Few specs you maybe interested in:
Weight:6lbs
Overall Length: 39.75inches
Barrel Length: 19.5inches
Average velocity: 826fps
Average energy: 11.2ft/lbs

This past weekend, gun show, finally found a Colt Government MK 4 Series 70 to replace one I have regretted selling for years. Pictures in the handgun forum. Really happy with the find and price.
