Thanks and this thread seems to have plenty of real nice guns. Me thinks that Python, even though with my wife's blessings will cost me with her.

Over the last 2 weeks, I've acquired the following:

1) a .38 Spl S&W 442 Airweight J-frame with 1.875" barrel in matte black:

2) a Noveske N4 Gen 2 lower (AR) receiver:

I've been looking for an Airweight snubbie for a BUG both on duty and off. And the Noveske Gen 2 lower will be my SBR base.

I am happy to report that I am again an owner of a Beretta, this time a 96 Centurion.

A 1919 Steyr M1895 long rifle converted to 8x56mmR. No import marks, and excellent bore. I traded a Remington 710 and $50 for it.

Escort AUTO 12g 18" CYL GRS SYN (great Tactical Turkish shotgun--highly recommended for an affordable/reliable tac sg--$396 OTD with a $20 FFL). Still can be had for way less than an Italian or American semi-tactical sg (not saying it's a SPX, 1187P Benelli M4 etc. but it's definitely a viable competitor--heck, just buy em all )!

I have read tons of good stuff about this gun and I really look forward to shooting it. It's got that venerable "Hi Power" look to it as well with some degree of compatibility (mags etc.).

eaglestroker, I'd get that rifle away from that woodpile cause you have a serious termite problem.
