[/QUOTE]Doesn't work with heeled bullets, and having a loading gate snapping shut on the rimfire rim makes me pucker.

KAC SR15 IWS LPR ordered and paid for on 12/28/12. It should arrive sometime in March. Once that's paid off I'd like to get an FNX-45.

Glock!
![]() My most recent purchase was this Gen3 Glock 17. It is my first auto pistol. Actually is my first semi-auto firearm. I got it for a great price, $250 with 4 mags. I bought it just a few days before Sandy Hook. The guy I got it from is an impulsive type. He suddenly decided to change to an M&P9. He only put 2000 rounds through it and it's in great shape; he even had it refinished by Glock. |

CPO Sig P229. Wish it would stack up against my Glock 23 for EDC but sadly she's a safe queen.

M&P Shield 40
Picked this up on Jan. 29th and took it the range on my birthday Jan. 30th; I had been #2 on a waiting list since April 2012! Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 40. All I can say is: I am glad they didn't forget about me and it was a fabulous birthday. Great piece of equipment!

Somehow all my plans to carry something lighter that a Dan Wesson Valor 5" 1911, didn't quite pan out - or not by very much. So I still find myself usually carrying the j frame revolver. |

NO pictures as yet but I got a 9mm H&K VP70Z 18 round clips
![]() for Christmas and 45acp Barretta 8045 Cougar for my Birthday. If you gotta get older at least demand a great gift.I've read peoples' comments about the VP70 and can't agree with. Long trigger pull yes, but hard or tight? It's more like the pull on the older rifles I love so much. " After a couple of clips it leaves your trigger finger in pain " I and my son put 160 rounds through it and all we felt was we should have brought more ammo. All in all, a great pistol for the range and home deference but too big for concealed carry. The Cougar F frame fits nicely as a concealed carry and the recoil is way less than I expected and perfectly to the rear with NO lift or side sway. It's easy to keep on target and sights line up easily. |

Well, I went to a gun show last weekend looking for a 2nd or 3rd generation Glock 17/19. There were some there, but I wasn't interested at >$600 for used combat tupperware and obnoxious refrains of "The price is NOT negotiable!"
So, I came home with a lovely Ruger Bearcat in stainless. What a great little revolver! |
