Bought a post 1964 Winchester model 88 recently. Caliber is .308. The stock is cracked, the forend screw was the wrong one (it has since been replaced) and the front sight hood is missing.

Paid $200 for the gun. Sorry about the feet.

Congrats. Heck the magazine is worth half what you paid for the rifle. If yours shoot like mine you're really gonna like it.

Oh, just today picked up an early 90's Winchester 1300. Shot a few clays and she seems to point nicely and shoot even better. I think this might be the start of a beautiful friendship.

Last Gun I Bought

A circa 1997 Glock 30 .45acp Gen. 2.5 in near mint condition. Now, to find a 10mm conversion barrel from Storm Lake or a G29 slide and I will be happier.

I think you're right! I've been buddies with mine for over 30 years---back when they called it the 1200, which is essentially the same thing---and it's always been a reliable, first-rate shotgun. I can't understand why they never enjoyed the same following as the Remington 870.
Congratulations on your find!

Just recently acquired a dirty, slightly rusted Kel-Tec P-3AT. After a lot of cleaning...(And I mean a lot, it made cleaning my first SKS caked in cosmoline without knowing about any method of removing it besides wiping it off look easy...)it still has some areas the bluing is missing and that are discolored on the outside...and the grips a bit chewed up...but it looks solid enough, no dings or pitting!

And at 50$ for it in the original box with the original manual, and 130 rounds for it...I couldn't pass it up!

A 25-06 on Mauser action from auction. Took a chance and it has exceeded all expectations --- and more. And, it also got me reloading, so a great purchase.

Picked up a NIB Remington 700 SPS Tactical with a threaded barrel in 300 blackout. Still need to pick up a rail. No pics yet, it doesn't have any eyes yet.

Based on a moment's contemplation, many of us have not yet bought our Last Gun.
