A Mosin 91/30. I'd been looking for one for over a year with no luck, and was so happy to find one for sale (and in great condition) that I overpaid for it by quite a bit - $180 out the door. Still happy to finally have one in the collection though - it's a blast to shoot!

@ madFive

I don't think you over paid for it - very average Mosin's are going for $150 to $160.

$180 out the door for a real good one is alright by me.

Good luck with it - it'd a fun gun to own. Loads of history.

These were purchased late yesterday evening. Working to complete my acquisition of all Glock model numbers.
Glock 21

Glock 29

Glock 30

This was at one of my LGS's today. Used for $500, lightly used I might add.

I am on vacation this week and am buying items as I find them.

Thanks Don - yeah, I'm still kicking myself for not picking one up a few years ago when they were going for half that price. But this one does have some nice history to it. Made in 1941, so it probably saw a battle or two in its day. Once I got all the cosmo off I started pulling copper fouling out of the bore - looks like it had a good number of rounds through it.

Deal on Beretta M9

Beretta M9. Rural King had a "15% off anything that fits in a 5-gallon bucket" sale, so after discount $438 plus sales tax; $467 out the door. I like Rural King.

A Purple Ruger,,,

It's a Raspberry colored SR-22,,,

I bought it in a whim just to be different.

I originally thought it was called the Lady Lilac,,,
But a bit if Googlin' and I learned different.

I might try and find a Raspberry LC-9 to pair with it.

Up-date from March 2011, recently purchased a 2 1/2" M 66-1. Just cause I've wanted one for many years. I'm at the point of my life I can afford it and I don't know how many years I've got left to shoot .357 Magnum ammo through a short barreled K frame, without causing myself a day or two of stiff arms and shoulders.

I picked up a couple of nice .22lr rifles this weekend. A 1948 Remington 512 and 1947 Remington 510.

My last gun was a Springfield XDS 9mm. I shot 130 rounds in it before the safety recall. Haven't seen it for something like six weeks now. By the time it comes back it will be like I got a new gun.

A cheap Phoenix Arms 22HP. Got it brand new for $108. It's a great reliable all metal plinkster for the price... Talked my GF into going to the range, so I got something fun & easy to shoot...

Just put an old Glennfield .22 in layaway for my boy's Christmas present. Don't want him to find it, so it will come out just before. I like the squirrel on the stock.

M&P 40 with Vtec sights. I'm on the hunt for two though. A 10 mm Rock Island and a Ruger SR1911 4inch.

Just brought this home today. Ruger Super Redhawk, .44 mag, 9.5" barrel with a Leupold 2x20 scope. This belonged to a family friend that passed away 3 years ago and I just acquired it from his wife. I was only 6 years old when this was manufacturered in 1989. And I'll have it on me on opening day in 2 weeks.

Very cool!

Those JMB designs are fascinating on their own, as well as being interesting "pre-M1911" designs.

Do you intend to shoot it?
