Taurus tcp 738fs. Just 50 rounds through it so far but I am impressed for the cost. Great trigger for a micro .380!

My S&W M&P 40 is garbage BTW. S&W semi's are no longer welcomed in my safe. My M&P 9 was great after my gunsmith worked on it but this M&P40 is garbage. I'm going to send the recording of the noisy trigger.

H&R Sidekick,,,

I found this little thing at The Evil Pawn Shop,,,
The serial number dates it to 1985/86,,,
The last years of production.

I honestly think it's unfired,,,
There is not one blemish anywhere,,,
And nothing around the forcing cone or top-strap.

$225.00 out the door.

Aarond

This is the only handgun that I wish I hadn't bought. I buy guns to shoot not to look at. The trigger is so bad that I am sure the Soviets only possible use was to shoot someone in a kneeling position in the back of the head.

First "plastic", striker fired handgun

When it comes to handguns, I'm an all steel with a hammer kind of guy. I own a CZ75 Compact, a Jerico (CZ75 clone), 92FS, and a Sig Fastback Carry 1911. But for a smaller carry gun, I just picked up an SR9C, striker fired, poly framed handgun. After my first range trip, I'm liking it a LOT. The trigger feels much better than other striker handguns I've tried. I was concerned about the small size (compared to what I'm used to), but I shot it quite well, and even fast follow-ups were good. I like everything about the gun so far, and if it proves reliable, I think it going to make a great carry gun along with the CZ and Sig.

A first handgun: WW2 German Sauer 38H (.32 acp); military variant, which won't arrive for two weeks. Only the cracked Bakelite grips were replaced, very typical. This series has both the safety and decocker levers for the internal hammer/striker. A friend found the DA pull decent, and the SA very crisp.

It is very similar to the modern Sig 230/232 descendants.

Found the Ruger and his big brother. I now have 2 SR1911's one in 5inch and the 4 inch. Add to that the Henery Yellow Boy with octagon barrel and I'm done for the year. Well maybe not. Rumor is Academy my repeat their $100 price on Hertiage 22lr revolvers on black Friday. Lets see, 4 grandchildren, nice starter pistol, low price and what does that add up too. Granny standing in line again @ 0 darkthirty, in the cold and dark of night. Alas a granparents lot in life.

I just bought a M&P Shield 9mm....

Great gun that I can pocket carry, unlike my Glock 26...

I scored a 98 on Larry Vicker's drill "The Test"

10 yards, 10 seconds on a B8 target, since the Shield doesn't hold 10, I drew from concealment out of a Blade Tech IWB holster.

I shot the 98 in 8.06 seconds, a little too fast...

Several moths ago my wife bought me a H & R model 929 revolver that looks just like that. A guy at her work sold it to her for $120.00. It is in fair condition. It was passed down to him from his dis-ceased father.
Got to shoot it for the first time a few days ago. It shot very well. I had to get used to the big blade sights but it seems pretty accurate.
