2 yesterday. A used in great shape Hi-Standards Derringer and a well carried Colt Cobra LW 2" (1967). Both belonged to a deceased police officer and were only $225 each.

![]() Smith & Wesson Model 60-15 with 3-inch barrel. Got it last week. Didn't like the little Hogue grips that came with it so I put a set of Pachmayr SJ-G Grippers on it but am waiting on a pair of the nice wood grips S&W puts on the Model 60 Pro Series. Pictured with a cheapie Gun Mate holster and a Bianchi gunbelt. Loads are Hornady LeverEvolution 140-grain FTX.

After researching this forum for months about the Remington 870 Express and reading all of the posts about how great, how dependable, how well made, how it will go bang EVERY time you shoot it, that you can shoot thousands of rounds and probably never wear it out, that it is one of the best shotgun designs ever, I bought a NEW 870 Express, 7 shot, a couple months ago. I came back to the forums to get more information only to find posts like.....PROBLEMS WITH THE NEW 870 EXPRESS......JAMMING PROBLEMS. DAMN! Just my luck. I haven't shot it yet but tomorrow I will shoot about 100 shells and check it out. I hope I got a good one.

My latest, a Kimber Target Match, post #2313 of this thread, got its first detail stripping and cleaning this morning. The gun is as pretty and well finished on the inside as on the outside. Yes, I am intellectually offended by the MIM parts, as well as the plastic mainspring housing. But, the gun is so accurate, so reliable and so darn pretty, I am tempted to just leave her be, instead of my usual tossing the MIM and plastic in favor of "real" parts.

A few weeks ago, I was buying some supplies from the Cheaper Than Dirt website and needed something to round out the order (just for fun). I wanted to buy a nice pocket knife, but they couldn't sell me the one I wanted because of my place of residence (semi-rural Colorado... go figure).
So... I bought myself a North Amercan Arms NAA-22M-CB. It's a 5-shot 22 caliber black powder revolver, so no FFL was required. It showed up on my doorstep four days later. It's an interesting little curiousity and it's a blast to shoot. |
