"redoing", aka "completely redesigning just to have a 10mm CZ"

If you want 10mm, look at the Dan Wesson line of pistols.

I know that. I'd love to own a 1911 10mm from them.
But I was talking about a true CZ in 10mm. It would work on a 97 frame. CZ wont touch it, however. |

has anyone refinished their CZ in something other than the standard black polycoat or nickel? i was thinking of redoing the frame on my 40b, probably in brown or bronze or some other color. i saw this pic and nearly crapped my pants:

The rear sight on that gun appears to be, if it is not actually, the LPA that now comes standard on the EAA Witness Elite Match.
You know, the one that replaced the Super Sight rear and that everyone is bitching about. $1350? That's about $700 too much. Those triggers pinch my fingers, I think they were made for much smaller hands and fingers than I have.

Threaded barrels for SP-01?
Anyone know where I can find extended threaded barrels for the CZ SP-01? I found them for the regular CZ 75B.

the Pro Tek is an expensive conversion. lot of mill work was done on the slide, CZ slides and frames are hard and need carbide to cut it. extended barrels.. CZ-USA has 6" barrels, talked with Adam today and he said they had them in house..easy enough to thread for suppressor. not sure on SP01 barrel as it has a thicker OD than the 75B barrel..but might be able to sleeve one to fit the slide. |

what color is that on the pro-tek custom? i've stared at it with two laptops, and three different screens at work and at home. damn this colorblindness. it looks good, but i can't tell if it's green, gold, or brown. i just know i like it LOL!

Kestral
Have always been a CZ fan since 1945.My 1st was a P27 32acp then a P38 .380acp also known as a P39.then a 1941 issue Duo 25acp.followed by P24/25.380acp.There was a gap of a few years then a Cz52 7.52m + a 9mm spare barrel,a CZ 45 .25acp, plus I now have the uptodaters CZ 122 Sport 22LR.CZ83 9mMak,Cz75.9mm,Cz85.9mm & not least the 97B .45acp.Yes,I guess I do like the CZ range,and I still have them all.
