Thanks, it started out as a finish challenged 6" that had some "work" done to it, so I got it for a song. The previous owner buggered the grips and every screw on the gun. He also messed with the trigger and it had a bad case of push off. I fixed the trigger then sent it S&W for the barrel swap and the bead blast blue finish, I figured the rubbers and Safariland paddle holster would complete the Combat Revolver look.

Hello friends and neighbors // I'd love to have a 3" m60, just about the perfect handgun. That is a 3" isn't it?

Today was a good day for enjoying the pleasure of shooting 30 M1carbine cal. out of a handgun. (shooting the rifle is so much fun I sometimes forget)

My S&W 329Pd .44 mag 4" barrel wearing its new Ahrends combat grips.

Here is a 686-6 .357 seven shot, 3" barrel also with Ahrends combat grips.

The 642-2 .38 spl. which is my usual daily carry gun.

And my over 30 year old Ruger Single Six Convertible .22

Hello friends and neighbors // Meat, Potatoes and now Gravy.

Started shooting 44. again with the S&W M29 8 3/8" I bought a couple of months back.

So I decided to replace the Redhawk I had to sell years ago to fund a transmission for my 1971 Monte Carlo (with factory bucket seats and floor shift)

That one was a 7 1/2" but since I have a 7 1/2" Blackhawk in .30 carbine cal. and a Service Six 4" .357 the 5 1/2" Redhawk seemed to fit the bill. (recently gifted my Security Six 4" .357 to my Dad for his 70th birthday)

The trigger on the .44 was much better than anticipated but different grips might be needed to reduce trigger guard slap. Other than that I'm greatly pleased with the 5 1/2" in accuracy, balance and recoil using WWB .44 mag and Federal .44 special.
