Photoman, what is that third one that's bobbed? Looks like it would be a great carry piece!
KO41, looks like a great start to me!

A few nice wheelguns out in the Nevada desert, doing what they do best. All Rugers, from the top, chambered in 256 Win Mag, a 1955 model Single Six, another Single Six as tarted up by Hamilton Bowen, and finally a SP 101 in .357 Mag, but which I was using to shoot .38 Specials.

How about a new 'classic'? A 632 Pro - a 2 1/8" .327 Magnum enclosed hammer J-frame with front & rear Tritium Night Sights and... no Infernal Lock! Finally shipped in late August/early September, after being first introduced/advertised 2/2010.
![]() ![]() The 632 Pro comes with synthetic boot grips, which I repaced with S&W SKU #411740000 '60 Pro' wood grips - for a better look and feel in my hand. It hits coincident POA/POI at 7 yd with 115gr Speer Gold Dot .327 Magnums, as in my HKS 32-J speedloader; a bit low with the 85gr JHP and SP .327 Magnum Federal/American ammo - several inches low with the ultra mild 96gr LRNFP .32 S&WL - all with a 'combat' sighting (Center orb coaxial to the bullseye.). Here is...
More contribution. A s&w 41 magnum model 58 and a top break S&W .32 "bicycle" gun. I had just wiped the model 58 with oil, it made the finish look weird in the pictures.

Wow! 54 pages and 5 1/2 years, and most of an afternoon. Thanks to all the posters, this has been a wonderful walk through the world of revolvers.
Here is one of mine (22-4) that I took to a 3-day defensive revolver course at Gunsite:

This is my only toy with a readily available photo,so I figured, what the hell
. It's an all original,95%+ condition, 1942 S&W "U.S.Navy" stamped Victory model, now with S&W factory letter from Roy Jinks.

The new J-frame I just picked up today, backed by one of the pieces of cedar that will eventually be a set of grips for this gun.
