Hi Gents,

I've got a hankerin' for a Colt Second Generation Walker (C series).

From what I've read, that's about the best quality piece to own. However, God knows where one might be for sale in Canada. Any Canucks out there who could give me a lead? My Uberti is nice, but I'd like nicer......

The internet Auction Site called 'Gunbroker' is a good place to find actual COLT 2nd Generation or other series or makes of WALKERS.

I do not know anything about shipping to Canada or whatever Laws may apply to the particulars, so, I would think you would have to e-mail the Seller to find out if they are familiar and willing...as well as to do some research on yur own to make sure however it is done, that there would be no worries or mistakes in that regard.

We have a similar site up here called "canadiangunnutz.com", and I have an ad with them.

It's not impossible to get a pistol from your neck of the woods, but when I ordered my USFA Single Action Army, it took just under 12 months to have the gun made and shipped through a dealer in Montana to here!

You're also right that John Doe may balk at having to go through the paperwork nightmare in the States. We'll see what happens.

Hello Gents,

My Uberti Walker is serial number A80595. I saw the chart for Uberti that shows codes as being double letters (2010 is CF).

Has Uberti changed their codes?

As well.....I'm on the lookout for that Second Generation Colt Walker, but I'm confused over the "C" Series and "F" Series. I thought that the "C" was of better quality than the "F", and that it was manufactured first. Would that have been in 1979/80?

HI ive got an Uberti WALKER just fanned the hammer and the gun wont index can i fix that?

Anything can be fixed. Check the hand spring to see if it is broken. Point the gun downward and see if the cylinder moves. If it does, then point it up and if it doesn't move the cylinder when cocked, it indicates a broken hand spring. Replacement parts are available from several sources.
