I just you might like to know. It sure does look like the same stuff I had used. I filled the engraving on my 1851 Colt Navy with the silver filler to sort of match the silver trigger guard and backstrap. I may have even used some of the bronze to fill the engraving on my 3rd Model Dragoon... I'll have to check because I forgot.

Now tell me where I can pick up the key to the executive men's room. Then point me to the cigar bar.

Its nice but its not an original and if it was its not a civilian. the side is marked with a B. A,B,C were all military models. serial number is too high. then the gun would probably look just like that on the aging. However it would not be that smooth. i have never seen an orignal with out dings or nicks or nipples that looked beaten. that one looks like it was stripped then aged. Not an orignal a good copy but not of a true civilian model with the B and the serial number too high

You mean no washroom attendant to splash Axe cologne on me, straighten my tie, and brush off my smoking jacket? Damn.

There is a cigar bar though, right?

Right?

RIGHT?

I tried figuring out the lack of engraving on the cylinder. Not a bad looking revolver at all though although I do not know if I would give that for a questionable manufacturer ...........

Well, as long as he has a whisk broom in one hand and a proper cigar lighter in the other, we'll get on just famously.

Even though the Walker is a copy, I like the triple stamp. My #'s are acid etched and there are only 2 of them, on the bbl and the receiver.

should also have it on the wedge the problem is though when they were originally sent out to the USMR them men cleaned them in groups and changed parts from other guns. It was very hard to find a gun with all OE numbers

Welcome aboard Gin.
Just saw this on gunbroker I had to put it here because this is either a real one or a really good fake.

That is a very well done clone. The lettering appears identical to my 2nd gen, but the serial number is to low to be one.
Interesting gun.

Im sure this has been answered before but I gotta ask.
On the original Walkers did they have the stamp U.S. 1847 over the barrel wedge?

Ginormus, WEKCOME ABOARD SIR!!
By God it's always good to meet real people. Damn right! I'vd got my cigar cutter right here. I'vd got axe to. Double bitted and sharp as a razor blade...Hold on here a moment. Got to check on my squirrel's I'vd got cooking over here...Pretty nice looking ol' gun you got there. Walker Club's growing right along. We all love our Walkers. I usually just refer to mine as my '47.
Ginormus, just try and overlook Scrat. He seem's like he want's to do right. But there is a slight mental problem that creeps out now and then. Scrat dosen't just love Walkers. He has a disease related to them. Some type of unhealthy fixation. We have been trying to get him in to see someone that could possibly diagnose the problem and get him started on a cure but before we can help him he must first be willing to admit he has a problem.
Again..Welcome Aboard Sir!!....
