Would you mind telling us why your club banned 100-yard pistol shooting? Glad for you that it was lifted, however.

A committee member of the club said it was dangerous to shoot 50 / 100 yds untill they had got it checked out to see if it was safe ,!! it took them 4 years to get it checked out , in the end they just asked a fire arms dealer who comes to the range what he thought, he said it was safe so they then lifted the ban , one member had already left the club as he got fed up waiting for them to lift the ban , so it not just the goverment that gives us a hard time this side of the pond over firearms ............ problem now is powder as gone up to £29.50 per kg = $48.88 per kg so the WALKER will cost a bit more to shoot since the last time it was at the 100 yds shoot ..........

YA for 1 what are you talking about. the WALKER is loaded in the cylinder so you pour in powder put a wad then a round ball then press it in. no RCBS needed. As for loading 45 colt. I just use lee dies they work good for me.

Then my friend the lees are good enough i even bought a lee loader. Had to get one as i am sure some day we wont be able to find these anymore. the 45 colt is the easiest thing to load. i stick with black powder loads. use the lee dies for sizing and depriming. then i prime using a hand prime. Hand charge them all as bp does not like static and should use a drop tube. then i put a wad over the powder then back to the lee to press in the bullet
