Foreign Gun Owners(outside US members)...Show your stuff...

I searched and couldn't find a pic thread dedicated to foreign gun ownership, I'd kinda like to see one. I know that not all THR members are US citizens and I'm curious to see some gun collections of some of our foreign members.

>>Please keep in mind that this thread is a chance for foreign members to show off their gun collections, plain and simple<<

Maybe we should make them feel more welcome by calling them "non-US" instead of "foreign".

Also, keep in mind many of them are sleeping.

Well, looks like I'm the first......................

Don't have a picture of all my guns but here's one of me with my .303.

[IMG][/IMG]

And a pic of my Winchester model 62

[IMG][/IMG]

The Winchester's quite unusual in having an octagonal barrel - apparently only a small number were made for export. Great little shooter.

Don't be. It's only about luck. Luck to live in the good place for gunlaws, luck to have the money at the right time etc..

I really like your enfield. I always wanted one. One day i'll step and take one !

I'm posting from work here in Australia so I don't have access to my photo collection but here's a picture of my latest acquisition. It's an Israeli Mauser in 7.62. It is a bit of a mystery as to what it started life as with some people sugesting that it was a pre-war VZ-24 while others think it may be a late or post war 98K. All new opinions are welcome!. I have a few others at home which I'll try and post soon.

These are all good for home defence since any would be burglar who invaded your home would laugh to death if you pointed them at him

There are some very nice weapons shown. The gun laws in some countries are not owner friendly as we have in the United States. We live in a great country.

Great collection Zen!

Are people in Europe and other countries outside the U.S. considered "weird" by their fellow countrymen if they are into guns?

Not really a collection, just the only firearm I own for the moment (I just recently became a gun enthusiast): my CZ-75 SP-01 Shadow 9x21.

Greetings from Italy,

That’s a very good question especially over here in the UK. Some UK shooters may have had a different experience to me, but to be honest, and in my experience, I don’t often meet anyone who is totally anti-gun. My neighbours and colleagues know I shoot. Some show an interest and talk to me about shooting, most aren’t bothered because they aren’t interested in shooting anyway rather than actually being anti-gun, and very occasionally I meet someone who doesn’t agree with gun ownership at all.

I’ve given up speaking to anyone who is totally anti-gun because they aren’t open to any common sense debate and always throw the Hungerford and Dunblane massacres at you (google them if you haven’t heard of them). The Hungerford shootings got our full-bore semi autos banned and the Dunblane shootings got our handguns banned.

Interestingly though, Michael Ryan, who carried out the shootings at Hungerford, also used a 9mm pistol but these were not banned at that point. The Dunblane shootings however, involved minors which resulted in a groundswell of emotional anger being levelled at gun owners - the Government jumped at the opportunity to ban handguns.

But as we all know: gun crime has increased since the ban but at least it provides you folks with enough evidence to prove that gun control doesn’t work!

sure here. for the average people having to keep their issued SIG550 is already too much.. They don't undertsand why someone should privately own guns.. in their mind only police and military should be armed... When you expose them arguments and statistic that says the opposit, they sometimes change their mind, but their brain is usually formated by green/socialist/liberalfoolish ideas of desarming people...

This was taken at Bisley ranges in England - I'll be shooting there again in 2 weeks

Zen .45, i had that garand and company photo saved on my computer and didn't know it was from outside the US. That actually kind of makes it mean more to me. I know some of you have to jump through a lot of very small hoops to get your guns and it really makes a young american like me appreciate the rights i have.
anywho, KEEP POSTING THE PICS!!! they never get old.
