Oh... and my thoughts on single shots. The Ruger #1 is a fine hunting rifle. Our freedoms were won with single shot rifles.

The first carry pistol I bought was a Davis Industries 380. What a pos!! I don't know if they make any other firearms, but if they do I sure don't need em.

Striker-fired pistols, another Ruger, anything with tacky gold embellishments, a .500 S&W (unless they chamber it in a lever action)...

I bought a Sig P220 back in late 2007/early 2008 and have had zero problems up to this point (of course, Ive only put about 350 rounds through it). Now, if your Sig is a fairly recent model, Im willing to believe you as I have heard that some of the newer P220 models (ST particularly) have been having issues, mainly with the extractors. Also, I think there was a fairly recent management change within the Sig "umbrella." Im sure this has had quite a bit to do with recent complaints regarding QC and/or CS issues. Regardless, I love my Sig and am glad I bought it when I did. But, for 2009, the XD-45 ACP has become my weapon of choice.

Simple question for me: Any gun on the planet in the 40sw or 10mm caliber; (9mm is a close 2nd, but there are a couple I might consider); and ANY Glock. After that, I would real picky on most any other "Toy Gun". (Plastic/Polymer).

Does anyone have to time to list all guns in this thread. I do believe they are all listed.
maybe I did not see the lever action 30/30 in here anywhere.

It's hard to go through this thread and not find something that you own.
I have a S&W M&P that never fails me and I would trust my life to it. People hate it. I have a Ruger LCP that I just found ammo for and will shoot tonight for the first time. People hate it. I have a mosin nagant that captures my imagination and is a joy to shoot. People hate it. I have a savage that's fun to target shoot with. People hate it. Oh well, I'll add my own thoughts. I wouldn't buy a 50 cal because I can't shoot it at my local range. I wouldn't buy a revolver because they just don't capture my interest. I wouldn't buy an AR15 because they seem to jam up a lot at my local range. I wouldn't buy any pistol in a caliber over 9mm. It doesn't matter how big your bullets are, your penis will always be smaller than mine.

Never buy gun, doesn't exist for me. If the price is right would buy anything, could always sell it at a profit, or it would just fit in with the rest of the ones in the pile.

Any thing that shoots rubber bands. I had one once that I bought in Taiwan and it broke as soon as I got it home! And, the customer service was non-existent!

Seems like everyone who hates Desert Eagles either doesn’t own one, or doesn’t have the muscle mass to shoot one.
That’s what weight training is for, Ladies. If you actually owned one you’d be smiling when you shoot it, and scratching your head while you figure out how to disassemble/assemble it; that’s the annoying bit. If you want a gun to hate, hate the Hi-Standard Victors as the jam-machines they are. Last edited by maulme; May 31, 2009 at 03:29 AM. Reason: grammar |
