9 mms
are the worst full sized pistol rounds ever. 357 mag or 7.62 tok is the only way to go. I have a yugo m57 and I prefer the design and grip over any glock.2000$ on any rifle is lunacy, even on an AR. There are many better rifles for a lower cost. Now this will offend somebody, but I prefer my Yugo sks over an AR.

I will never, ever make the mistake of buying a Beretta ever again. (fooled twice) Also, semi-auto .22LRs regardless of maker.

Glock (insert # here). They are fugly, blocky, feel awful in the hand, and point wrong. M&P has them beat hands down.

There are some interesting choices out there.
Mine: Any gun that can't be shot without "Destroying it's value." I inherited a commemorative 1911. It's a lovely thing that my dad bought at a "Friends of the NRA" event. I would never buy something like it, having dealt with this one. It still needs to be pulled out and checked over periodically, and I hate having to baby the thing. If it can't be shot at least now and again, I don't want it.

I have three Taurus PT1911s that are great guns for the money. Based on that experience, I made the mistake of ordering three PT145s and ten additional magazines. All three guns, regardless of magazines, ammo, or operator, would not cycle reliably--mucho FTFs. In addition, Taurus did NOT impress. I will never buy another PT145--nor will I ever buy another Taurus.

well as a general rule i avoid flashy fire arms but i still would buy them im not a huge fan off bizarre calibered deer rifles that weigh 9 lbs that cost 3 grand and are impossible to find parts for or upgrade and the ammo is 5 bucks a round. and i dont like yugo versions of soviet weapons, and alot of different smith and wesson and high cost firearms simply because i have found that over the years the cheap ones always provail (unless its a jennings ive never had one work). i also wouldnt own a barretta benelli etc italian 2000 dollar shot guns when mossberg is the supirior to all.

Count how many times the word "Taurus" is written here. That pretty much explains it...
