I can't believe no one has mentioned the Taurus Judge or a Glock!

Of course I did skip a lot of posts in the middle...

What is with all the hate for Kel-Tec? Just curious, as I was looking at their RFB which seems all around an interesting weapon.

No Tauras' or Ruger auto pistol. And basically any long gun over about 12 pounds fully loaded isnt worth my time/energy unless its full auto. For example: SAW or 240B.. haha

HK, I've shot them, nothing to write home about. Who would pay $1,200 for a plastic gun?

Browning Hi-power. After spending $900 for the gun, now you have to send her to a gunsmith for the magazine safety disconnect and trigger pull work. $1,200 total before you even shoot her, no thanks!

I've owned 2 taurus revolvers, brand new from the store, both had minor kabooms on the first shot... I've owned about 8 hipoints, never a problem other than ugly and heavy with low magazine capacity.

ruger all the way now, mostly wheelguns.

Taurus - after buying the "Gun of the Year", the Millennium 9mm and it sheared the pin that holds the slide to the frame and the metal in the receiver cracked I sent it to Taurus for warranty repair. Worst customer service I ever experienced. It was eventually replaced with a new gun that I traded in as a new non-fired gun. Got the Kahr PM9 and it is fantastic and dependable for C&C.
