Kimber Eclipse Ultra, with full sized magazine extender. 8 rounds of .45acp vs 6 or 7, in a small frame. Not a bad thing...and provides an even better grip in a still small frame. 100% reliable:
![]() A little nicer pic of it, with standard 7 round magazine:

![]() ive had a couplee of others in the past that had to be sold but this one never will. I feel the Ruger SR1911 is a very good 45.

Low end 1911, but has functioned flawlessly for the past 5 years and is fun to shoot.

One of our good customers received a few guns this week... the first was an engraved Wilson Combat which was georgeous, but he had "new grips" for it... made from the last Chestnut tree off Mt. Vernon plantation (documented). It was beautiful BEFORE the grips were installed, and literally breathtaking if you like 1911's.
The other guns were a pair of Les Baer 1911's that came in yesterday. The "new grips" for these were made of Mastadon Ivory from Russia. The screws for those grips were unavailable when we received the guns, so they will be "fixed" later... but some days, you just like to be working at the gun shop... you meet the nicest guns... er, people...
