Is it just me, or do they all look alike? Nevertheless, probably the most classic gun ever made.

Nothing like some of the other artworks in this thread, but here's my RIA hybrid-sized CCO-ish pistol, fresh from getting new sights installed.

This is tied with just a few others as my favorite thread on THR
![]() Seriously guys, very nice guns and great pics of them, keep 'em comin! I already posted photos of my two 1911s in posts # 251 #291 and #298 but double checked and haven't posted this, here's my ltd edition polished stainless S&W 1911's frame, wearing a Kimber .22lr conversion upper. It's funny, I have a more traditional 1911, and this upper doesn't work well on it as it's too tight. It works like a charm on the Smith though, maybe because Smith makes a lot of Kimber parts? ![]() and from a different angle (other guns in photo are all .22s was taking a .22 group shot) ![]() My previous posts featured more 'traditional' portraits of my 1911s, but I think this thread could use some unconventional 1911 pics ![]() ![]() I love fire 'shots'. Each one is unique, and the differences due to ammo, lighting, and angle are interesting, capturing these is one of my hobbies: This is my Cimarron/Armscor, this photo is actually the very first round I ever fired through this gun after buying it NIB ![]() ![]() and another Cimarron shot, I was using American Eagle when I took these ![]() The rest of these are my S&W 1911, first one shows it wearing a comp-bushing using American Eagle, the rest are without the comp and using "Fed Red". ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Figured I'd change things up a little bit ![]() keep your pics comin' did I mention I love this thread??

It's no Rogers (man, those are somethin' else!), but it's mine! I could be easily convinced to do a straight across trade for one of those Rogers masterpieces, but I'm sure I'm not the only one to offer...
