One of my favorite threads It'll never ever die!

I've got at least four other previous posts here, but I just checked and I have some newer pics of my 1911s that I haven't posted here, you may have seen 'em on 1911.org though

The polished stainless is a ltd edition S&W one of 251, and has been my every-day-carry for three years now. The blued is a Cimarron (Armscor) and both are in .45acp. Also seen is a Kimber .22lr conversion kit upper. It works great on the S&W frame.

(is there such a thing as too many pics in a post in a pic thread? :P )

Here's the Kimber .22 kit on the S&W frame

and here are two 'shots' of the S&W and Cimarron in action

This was one of those cases where it felt like the pistol chose the shooter because as soon as I picked this Lightweight Government up, I knew I had to have it.

Rogers, The 1911 in your post #386 really grabs me. I'm usually not much of a Kimber guy either, but that thang is gorgeous! I love the crown on the barrel and I really like those rear-sights, and pretty much everything else about it!
