1911 Titanium Frame
Another desire in my custom 1911. Any first-hand experience out there with Caspian's new Ti frame?

I will in about 3 months, as I am gearing up to build some 10mm 1911's on that frame.

Ask me in about 6 months. Bill Laughridge and I are collaborating on two series of limited edition 1911's based on that frame and two on a forged alloy frame. The trick was that the titanium frame will gall like an SOB if aren't careful. Once I figured a way around it Bill said it was a go. They will come with a special series serial number as well.

I have seen Damascus hammers on guns. There is a metal called Timascus. (Ti and Damascus alloy) would that type of metal hold well on a 1911 frame????
