Rapid Response First Aid Trauma Kit

The Survival/First Aid Kit lineup is growing at deltaoutdoorsman.com!

"The Rapid Response Bag was custom designed by request of elite military units, who were looking for a more compact and lightweight kit for their daily field operations." This verbage comes straight from the manufacturer, so who knows whether it is legit or marketing B.S. Bottom line, it is a VERY well thought out kit that addresses numerous situations AND comes in a utilitarian pouch that can adapt to applications outside of first aid.

The bag/kit measures 11"x6"x6.5", and the complete kit weighs only 2.5 lbs. There are M.O.L.L.E. straps on the back and pouches at the front & sides. Colors available are Coyote Tan and O.D. The contents come in shrink wrap with the gear bag.
Contains over 80 items, including:

1 EFA - First Aid Instructions
10 Pain Relievers
16 Bandage Strips, 1''x3''

How much extra room is there in the bag? Or does the 1st aid kit fill it out completely? I wouldn't mind a decent 'trunk' bag that I could toss some other emergency equipment/cheap handgun in as well, and this would fit if the components were small enough.

Thanks for the question. I think it is going to depend on what you specifically want to carry in addition to the existing components. The setup as shown is not bursting at maximum capacity and can certainly handle additional items.

My assumption is it would handle a small handgun, loaded mags, etc. but, again, it is going to depend on which specific items you're talking about...

Hope this helps & just ask if you have additional questions.

p.s.--we've been selling this item for over a month & have probably shipped 30-40 in that timeframe. A LOT are going to customers who are putting them in their cars or leaving them at a hunting camp. The setup is pretty hard to beat for those applications...

I decided to risk it I grabbed one of the other cheap F-A kits that you have too. I'm hoping I can get a decent kit put together between the two as well as room for a pistol and some other emergency gear.

Thanks Keaner. Your kits shipped yesterday. The tracking # should be in your email inbox. If not, let me know & I'll send it via PM.

Please let us know what you think once they land!

Is there a shelf life on the components in the bag?

Just like the pain relievers you have in your medicine cabinet at home, you'll need to keep up to date on the ones included in the kit. One thing to remember with the kit being offered here, these are NOT "new old stock" setups. They are put together when ordered, so the components are as new as they can be.

Hope this helps & please feel free to ask if you have additional questions.

Both the OD and Coyote Brown options for the Rapid Response First Aid kits are IN STOCK & available for immediate shipping.

Thanks
