Star Super in 9X19?

I have a Star Modelo Super in 9X19. I was shooting it and it failed to extract. I dismantled it and found the barrel lug had split. I need a new barrel. So far no luck in finding one. If I can't get one I guess it will be a wall hanger.

Tried most barrel manufactures, nothing. Wall hanger for sure, darn it, I liked that gun.

Try SARCO, Numrich, and Jacks First Gunshop, they all carry older brand parts.

Tried all of those, NO Dice. J&G Sales has a "Gun Smith Special" for $200.00. Ad says it might be missing some small parts. There is no way to know if the barrel is any good. I might try to call.

Show us a pic Joe.

Maybe a re-weld and re-fit?

Todd.

This is for a Star Super B correct?

Watch fleabay for parts.

Marstar in Canada carries parts, but is currently out of barrels,I don't know the legalities of buying parts from Canada:

Here are some other possible sources:

I may have a idea to repair it. The barrel lug is still attached and only slightly deformed. I was able to mash it back into place in the vise. I am going to try to drill into the lug and tap it with a #6 -40 hex head cap screw. I will them grind off the head. the cap screws are pretty hard so I might work. If it doesn't at least I tried and there is a place on the wall that would look good.

Have you tried Dick Williams Gun Shop out of Saginaw, Michigan Phone 989-777-1240. I've always had good luck with them in hard to find parts, in no longer produced firearms.
