Duztoff, dammit, round 2 of the day late and dollar short on the 223 brass. Business has been crazy here the last 2 weeks (self employed plumber). If there gone, no sweat. Thanks for the offer. Since we bought our land, I havn't been to the range in 10 yrs. Guess it might pay to go once and a while for the range brass.

Buck if you want, sometime this weekend, I can see if Cabelas over here has a shell holder. Does it have to be a Hornady or would RCBS work? Are you needing it for a Hornady case trimmer?

I need it for my single stage press. Some of the 'other' brands dont have a big enough hole in them for the primer arm. The Lee dies I just got is border line for working but I get by. Thanks!

For the LNL you need the #45 shell plate for .45 ACP. The #1 is good for .308 and other cases like .30-06, .35 Remington, .243 etc., but is problematic with .45 ACP.
The shell holder should still work for both, but I don't know for sure. Neither will do .45 Colt.

I got the #32 shellplate the other day for the lnl ap. Got a set of Lee dies and the shell holder gets me by on the single stage but my priming cup fits pretty snug in the hole of the Lee shell holder. I think the Hornady (and maybe RCBS) holes are a little bigger.

All I have for 45 is a #1 plate, It's not the best but it does work quite well for as much as people say it does not. The only problem I have is Once every 20-50 shells I have to guide it into the decaping and resizing die.

Farmerbuck, I have several rcbs shellholders, I can throw one in with your bullets if I have the right one. What size does the hole have to be?

BRHbar, check your in box. You made it this time! Wish I had the land problem, bought 2 acres 10 years ago, no neighbors, now surrounded with them & they get all antsy if I fire off more than a test round or two.

My Hornady shell holder hole is .293 and the Lee is .255. So, anything thats .255+ should work. Thanks

Here's a long shot.
But here I go! Anyone have the Hornady LNL progressive shellplate #16??? It's so hard to find unless you want to spend $100+ on eBay. I will gladly pay shipping and whatever your cost was to get it in the first place. |

I thought this thread was a "pay it forward", not an offer to buy...? It seems to be getting further from the intent.

Well I thought it would try to make it easier for the person who would be paying it forward. It was not my intent to try and solicit a sale. I will be more careful with my choice of words in the future. My apologies for sounding to "eager".

I have the following items that I would be happy to give to anyone that would like them. I'm concerned that the shipping costs of some of these items is more than the items are worth. If there is someone in the Houston area, I'd be happy to give this stuff to you. I am not a reloader, so forgive me perhaps calling things wrong.
1) a couple of hundred twice-fired 38 special brass 2) two wooden "trays" about 16" wide marked Jaro Bullet Co - holes are 2 different diameters 3) 4 plastic boxes to hold reloads - 2 smaller caliber (32/38/9mm) and 2 larger caliber (.44/.45) ![]()
