Kel-Tec Ammo Questions?
The first question is about some Fiocchi ammunition. It's in a green box with the usual 7.65 info, but it has the description "FULL METAL CASE 73 gr (LEADLESS)". The primers have red sealer applied. Is this stuff the equal of regular Fiocchi FMJs? Lesser than? The second question concerns prvi partisan ammunition. I have never heard of this stuff before. The box is basically blue. It states the contents are FMJ, 71 gr and 4.6 g. The primers are sealed and the head stamps are IK 03, 7.65 x 17. I've read that it comes from Bosnia. Is this stuff any good? |

I've run the Prvi through my P-32. It felt less powerful than Aguila fmj. I've never run across Fiocchi that contained primer sealant. If the box said "leadless," I'm guessing that might suggest it is a U.S. version of something like WinClean ammo or rounds which are designed to emit less lead particulate matter into the air upon firing.

The "leadless" in the ammo description should mean that the bullets are fully encapsulated in copper jacket. This means that lead will not be atomized into the air when fired.
The Prvi stuff should be pretty good ammo. I've used a ton of their component bullets and never had any complaints. |

I use the Prvi for carry in my P32, in JHP and FMJ, it has a good over-all length. It runs 100% for me, as does Fiocchi. I recently tried a box of Aguila and the rounds were shorter than either Prvi or Fiocchi. I had a couple of light primer strikes and 2 rim-locks.

I've never had a problem with the Prvi ammo.

I carry 60gr Fiocchi JHP ammo in my P-32. Not the XTP ammo, the stuff made in Italy. It's supposed to be rated @1100 fps which give it a good running start in that short barrel. It feeds perfectly for me and it's accurate. I practice with the 73gr FMJ Fiocchi ammo.

This is Fiocchi's Range Safe .32 ACP round with fully encapsulated lead core bullet.
Primers are non-mercuric and contain no lead styphnate.

About 8 yrs ago, I bought some belgian surplus 7.65 at a gun show. My p32 did not like it at all. It does like Fiocchi and S&B.

I use both of those ammo types in my p32 and various other .32acp guns
I seem to remember that the Colt 1903 didn't like the lead-free stuff, but the KT isn't picky.

Fiocchi makes fine ammo. It's loaded hotter than American ammo. I'd be suprised if you have any issues in your p32 or any other .32acp. Prvi makes some good ammo too. It's made in Serbia.
