Supposedly the plant that made the clays powders had some troubles - although there is debate whether that is an internet rumor or not. Eyes on the ground are hard to come by in the digital age...

I haven't seen clays or universal in forever.

Unless something changed in recent years, Midway never possesses powder, but they may have an allocation that will be shipped by Western Powders from Montana. That is significant because a veteran reloader must understand that you cannot buy powder and primers from Midway at the same time without paying two HAZMAT fees. The powder and primers will be shipped from different States. The deal is that Midway is located too close to an urban area, actually an interstate, to be allowed to store large quantities of gunpowder.

HHmmmm that explains the 2 hazmat fees.

Midway has also used Powder Valley as a source for powder and primers.

Was in Nashville last week, walked into a gun store that had a large column almost as tall as me of cases of 5000 winchester SPP! No limit....sadly I was flying back so no go for me but it is nice to see this stuff coming back.

Thanks. Things/situations for me/family are slowly improving and I post when I get a chance. My current posts are based on occasional partial quick scan of reloading components/vendors and not exhaustive monitoring that's tracked daily as I am not able to do that with my new job. But I will do what I can as time allows.

If you want lead bullets, go to blueboybullets.com. they sell hardened lead at a good price. Also, if you shoot SASS and win they will send you bullets to replace the ones you shot for free.
