[QUOTE=Reloadron;9519789]Today is Saturday June 21st 2014, the first day of summer where I am so today it would be my M1A. Tomorrow is Sunday so it would be one of the M1 Garands I have and I think Monday will be maybe the AR10[T]. Not really sure about Monday yet. Maybe Monday I'll switch to a more traditional hunting rifle.

I have 6 Savage Bolt rifles 3 are 270win's that's my favorite cal , but the nicest looking one is a 7mmWSM, my favorite bad weather one would be my 7mm-08 Savage Weather Warrior, for small game it would have to be one of my Savage Mod 24's
as of late, I don't seem to go to the range with out my H&R Classic Carbine 45LC just something about tossing a 300gr bullet down range out of something that looks like a kids gun
for the fun factor and showing off a bit , it would be my AR15 in 25WSSM, lucky for me I could have a favorite for each day of the month ,

My gun are like my kids , I love them all the same , maybe for different reasons but the same ,

Favorites change, but as of right now, this one is my favorite of favorite rifles.

CZ 527 CSR in 7.62x39mm, with pistol grip/spare magazine stock, bedded and pillared.

I'd love to find out if the KelTec RFB could be my favorite, or the Tavor, but funds and availability say no, not yet.

Boxhead, nobody is allowed to sit on that chair, are they - looks like it has no wear whatsoever.

What the HECK is .218 Mashburn Bee? Never heard of it...

Other than the guns I have made myself, out of blocks of steel Les Baer gave me, it would be my Remington pump, model 25, in 25-20. Light, slick, ten shots lightning fast. A close second would be a Savage 23 in the same caliber. I cant remember if it is a C or D model but I have both . The other is a 22 hornet.

As stated above, favorites can change, but for the last 6-7 years its been my SBR'd SiG-556 pistol ...
Here it is with the critters it's killed at 100yards:

Winchester model 70 featherweight 6.5x55.
Don't know if this would count but my favorite gun ever was my uncle's 1950's Winchester model 70 375 h&h magnum.

The Glenfield Model 60 of my youth 40 years ago... I hope the @#%#^@ that stole it gets a carbuncle where the sun don't shine.

edited to add:

Browning BAR, mine is in .308.
Of the guns in my possession, I'm with you - I have a BAR in 30-06 that I will never sell that I bought when I first got out of college - it's a deer slaying machine -

I am not sure it has become my favorite yet, but it is getting close.

Remington 700 Sendero in 300 Win mag.

Dont mind the dirty bench. This is what happens after a good day at the range and all the guns need a bath.

Right now it is this:

Norinco SKS that I bought last year unfired. It now has T200 peep sights, stock pouch for three strippers & a M1 Garand sling.

My enduring favorites are my M1 Garands. Fads come and go, flirtations with rifles of various colors (black and otherwise), but my M1 Garands are always there, and will always be there.

Oh, these and my 1861 Springfield. Yeah, I'm a traditionalist at heart ...

I'm going to have to cast another vote for the Garand.

Although I have a wide variety of new-age polymer semi-auto rifles that I also I enjoy, the only rifles that I ever find myself getting out of the safe just to hold and look over are the old ones made of wood and steel.

We're a lot alike as most of my bolt action rifles are varmint rifles. My all time favorite rifle is my first, a Remington 700 Varmint Spec in .25-06. Owned it since 1978. Had it so long that I had to replace the barrel about 5 years ago.

I've hunted a lot of game with this rifle, even Black Bear.

I'd have to say there are two:

Go to hunting rifle is a Remington Model 7 in .308 that wears an H.S. Precision stock and 2-7X compact Leupold scope. Love the handy, carbine length.

Plinker is a CZ 452 American with a can; thing is absolutely quiet and a hoot to shoot with subsonic ammo. Plenty accurate to boot.

If I had to pick one from my collection it would be the AI AW in .308 Win. I have .300 WM and .338 LM versions too but the .308 Win is my favorite. I consider it to be one of the greatest rifles ever made.

Opinions should be formed from facts, not presented as them. Being opinionated is easy, being educated requires effort.

I've got much nicer rifles but maybe not more accurate rifles than my Stevens 15-B. It's about as simple as it gets. A single shot, pull to cock rifle that won't accept a scope in any way. But it's killed hundred of squirrels. And my dad gave it to me so that right there makes it tops on my list. Don't get me wrong. It's a very nice rifle IMO. It's as accurate as rifles come IMO But it's not exactly a HD rifle or a battle carbine. I have those too but if I had to get rid of all my rifles but one I would keep the Stevens.

Here's a couple of photos of it beat up and banged up as it is but not so bad considering what it's been through:

Ill second the walther wa 2000, i've loved that rifle for half my life, and got the opportunity to drool over one at cabelas 3 years ago when my wife was just my girlfriend. It was in the case on the outside of the gun library with the other super high dollar rifles, it was next to a 30,000 dollar winchester lever gun. A few gentlemen stopped and mused about who would spend 60,000 dollars on a rifle like that so i kindly explained the history and that there are in the neighboorhood of 170-200 of them left.

I have many favorites.....but lately my top in 5.56 is this.

My top in .308 is my HK 91.

My rifles are insanely jealous and I might have a fight break out in my safe if I start picking favorites.

By round count my Colt 6920 wins. In successful hunts my Savage 116 in 30-06 wins. In stupid grin factor my Marlin 1894 .44 mag wins.

And I need more rifles.
