Glock 22 / 357 SIG Conversion

I've been told that the Glock 22 .40 Cal will handle a .357 SIG cartridge with just the barrel change. Is that true? Whether I would want to is a separate issue.

Yes on 3rd Gen. frames.
OK on 2nd Gen. frames after #CFF-xxx.
Check mags to make sure they all feed OK.
May need a .357 mag.

Hi Bobp, Not meaning to put a damper on your project, but why? I own a Glock 23 .40 cal and a Glock 33 .357Sig, personally I can't see the expense for so little gained. However, if you decide to go forward with your project please go to www.glockmeister.com and purchase .357 Sig Glock mags for one really important reason, they are marked .357 and you reduce the chances of ramming a mag full of .40's into your .357 barrel, not a good thing. The Glockmeister sell new stock Glock mags for $19.50, well worth it. You can use .40 cal mags but I have heard they sometimes FTF, if you use .40 cal mags mark the ones you have loaded with .357 so as not to screw up. Good luck with your project, you might want to go to www.glocktalk.com click on the .40 cal and .357Sig forums and talk to other folks who have done this. MCPO John USN RET

As conversions go, I've seen threads that advertise a barrel swap in a 20 or 29 to get 10mm, 40S&W & 357sig. That seems like the way to go IMHO
