New blockbuster anti-gun movie coming out

I'll try not to be cynical, but they will probably make her character transgender, and it will be up for multiple Oscars.

What am I missing? Gun control? Use both hands. Back ground check? We already have one. Age restriction? We already have it. Magazine capacity limitation? We already have it in some states.

Now there's a movie of glorifying what's already crippling our Second Amendment rights!

I thank you for notifying me on this and plan to shake my fist to not only the production of this movie, but also those that watch it.

Technical Manuals....
No, they sure aren't. I picked up a couple technical manuals from an antique store.

M-16/ M-4 maintenance and training manual, S&W automatics (59, 39 series), STEN, and they have many, many more, including full auto conversion manuals. I don't see jack booted thugs kicking down the doors of the antique shop and hauling the proprietor away by his white thinning hair.

This sounds like The Asylum's mockbuster version of "Runaway Jury" (they're the outfit who did "American Warship" in imitation of "Battleship").

Remember the "Runaway Jury" movie? The novel was about big, bad tobacco lobbyists, but the screenplay was changed to big, bad gun lobbyists. Checking the Wikipedia entry for the movie:
Budget $60 million
Box office $80.2 million
It was considered a disappointing performance.
I don't think there's enough die hard gun control fans to make this movie go anwhere.

In the 1959 Gallup Poll there was over 60% support for a ban on handguns.
In the more recent Gallup Poll there was maybe 25% support for a ban on handguns.
The gun control lobby is losing.

Maybe The Asylum could make a mockbuster copy of 'Miss Sloane' and call it 'Carrie Nation' about a noble prohibitionist fighting the liquor lobby. Maybe throw a sharknado in the plot for good measure.

Or call it "Carry Nation" and focus on how lawfully armed citizens are a viable deterrent of upwards of a million potential violent crimes a year. I mean, if you're gonna spend the money on a flop of a movie, might as well flop on something that's real, accurate and pro RKBA. But that's just not the Hollyweird way.
