I finally found a 2" model 10. I have been looking for this exact gun for close to a decade but every example I have found in the past was in rough shape. This one is in very nice shape considering its age!!

Now, with the Bianchi Lightning hammer shroud grips it will be a new pocket gun for me.

Nice find and in such great shape! I have always had a hankering for it's lighter weight brother, the Model 12.

I have one of those too :D with the box, manual, S&W ads, warranty card, and everything
I put some staghorn grips on it with a grip adapter for a classic look.

yowzer!
granpappy snub :D
congrats
I hope those grips work out better than some of the Bianchi stuff I've tried.

Nice find! But for pocket carry, you'll need a pretty big pocket. And a reinforced one. Not a light gun. I tried those grips; they're nice & shroud the hammer but the rubber makes it difficult to draw from a pocket.

Nice find.

That would fit well in a butt-down, muzzle up shoulder holster. Keep using Rennaisance Wax and you can keep it looking as it did the day it left the factory.

Wow! Not one but two beautiful classic K frame snubbies! I would have a tough time deciding which one was going to be my regular carry gun. Thanks for sharing!

I found mine several weeks ago. It fits an Uncle Mike's #4 pocket holster nicely, and carries in my coat pocket.

This one was made in 1963.

Yours?

Aren't those great, mesinge2? I have a 1950-ish pre-model, and just picked up a nickel plated two inch 10 from the late '70's a few weeks ago. Makes you feel like Jack Webb. :D

I like the gun.
Congratulations on finding one.

But you better have Very Big, Very Tough pockets if you think it's ever going to be a pocket gun !!

As I've seen in countless old movies, you can knock someone clean out with one of these, by merely whacking them on the shoulder with it ! :D
They also rarely ever run out of bullets, and are accurate for a hundred yards. ;)
