Beautiful morning so I decided to load the truck and head for the range. My outdoor range is Kelbly's located in North Lawrence, Ohio. As I approached the range looking to my left I asked myself "where the heck did a hundred or so RVs come from? I forgot the Super Shoot takes place every year at this time. No shooting for me today but for those who know the bench rest world the Super Shoot is to shooting what the Super Bowl is to football. Plenty of vendors setup and some sweet deals on powder and bullets as well as rifles from a few hundred bucks to holy crap does it really cost $10,000. Today was the last day of practice. Tomorrow things get serious.

Anyway, as long as I was there I figured a Kodak moment was in order. Note the wind flags, just a slight wind out of the west.

While not on the scale of Camp Perry the Super Shoot is an enjoyable event to visit.

Neat! I wish there were more events out in the desolate and isolated part of the world I live in.

Desolate and isolated I see as "good things". May go back tomorrow and bring my wife. I liked a few of the rifles I saw for sale and the powder and bullet deals were pretty good. Especially for those like me who enjoy shooting VihtaVuori powders. :)

Great photos. I believe several of my club members are there.

Thanks. As I forgot it was happening the pics were taken with my phone. I seldom rely on the phone to take pictures and with the bright sunshine I really didn't expect much.

Thanks for sharing Ron.

I read that those guys sport rifles with some wild colors. it would be neat to see it all in person some day

You see some interesting stocks and actions on their benches. Actually really nice color schemes in the stocks as well as cool mechanics and adjustments.

Since the stocks are not wood, there is no reason not to have cool paint jobs. Looks like Col. Billy Stevens standing there in the second pic. He did the barrel on this gun back in the day.
