Maybe if the reporter was wearing hearing protection and was focusing on the front sight it would have been a different story. And recoil from an ar-15 bruising a shoulder? I have my doubts unless the rifle was held away from it when fired. Even then I doubt it.

Is there video of them actually shooting it because I have my doubts. They were probably "anxious and irritable" before the "incident".

If the AR-15 had this type of reaction from I would love to see him handle a 12 Gauge shotgun. That would probably land him in the insane asylum.

Even in semi-automatic mode, it is very simple to squeeze off two dozen rounds before you even know what has happened. In fully automatic mode, it doesn’t take any imagination to see dozens of bodies falling in front of your barrel.

I admit to reading MSM, from Yahoo News to CNN to local. Almost every opinion piece is calling for a ban on AR-15's. Since the beginnings of the internet age, I've never seen this fever pitch on gun control. Even O'Reilly is ok with banning certain guns like the AR.
