New Source for 455 Webley Ammo?

Nom de Forum; no "butt plate" on a handgun? Au contrair! Webley's early RIC's had one piece grips mounted by 2 screws, one from the top of the fame, behind the hammer, and at the bottom thru the "butt plate", which in the Pre-RIC models(1868-70ish) had what were known as"butt(or base) plate" mounted ejector rods!! Before the adoption of the barrel mounted ejection system!

Update. For anyone who's interested, I got word last week that Buffalo Bore will indeed be adding .455 to their production line. They will start development soon and are looking to buy 2-3 revolvers for testing.

I don't believe I posted "no butt plate on a handgun". Please remember we were not discussing "Webley's early RICs". We were discussing top-breaks, specifically WGs and the Military Marks such as the MkVI. The reproductions of contemporary parts drawings that I have in my books show that the Military Marks and WGs have "stock plates" not "grips" or "butt plates".
