FMK Lowers - Any Good?

I have four composite lowers that I made from 80%'s. I am one of the few on the internet that like plastic AR lowers. FWIW I have several thousand rounds through plastic AR lowers.

Don't buy that.

Plastic (even good plastic) and aluminum have different strength characteristics. For a poly lower to hold up well, and be worth the effort of the build it needs metal inserts, significant re-contouring in some spots, or both. That has neither. It'll not be a good basis, and likely not last very long.

.................. and PSA has some incredible deals on rifle kits.

And so do others, got a gunsmith friend who likes these guys for his commercial builds.

Also, CDNN has some pretty good prices on kits.

I've got a couple PSA parts kits in the last couple of years, have not bought one lately due to others beating their prices with same or better quality.

Try Gunbroker. There's a few guys on there selling 80% with uppers reasonably enough. My aluminum 80% with upper was 114 after shipping but I could have gotten it cheaper had I not wanted something other than standard black.

I've got one. I kinda like it.
Hasn't broken, yet..

I got it CHEAP. If it breaks, I'm not out much. I'll just use the upper an another lower. Have several.
But, I don't abuse my guns, like butt stroking a dying deer, ect...
